Jaguar XK 140 – 1956
Car History:
After 60 years of activity, Jaguar modernized its sport serial. Behind the XK 140 abbreviation was hidden a model with an increased comfort, a new radiator grill and strong chrome bars. In order to balance the car’s bigger weight, the power was enlarged with higher bent axles which extended the valves time for opening. The Coupé now offered a larger cockpit with more space for luggage. The new steering with gear wheels was offering more exactness then all previous buildings.
For those impassioned by races they specially built a version with a power of 213 HP. Those willing to drive more comfortable could choose the automatic gear box. These days the XK 140 models are not so requested as their predecessors, but still they make a profitable deal for sale.
